Jeff Bridges will star in action-thriller “Comancheria” while fellow actors Chris Pine and Ben Foster are also in talks to star.
David Mackenzie is directing from a Black List script written by “Sons of Anarchy” actor Taylor Sheridan. Producers Sidney Kimmel, Peter Berg’s Film 44 and Julie Yorn acquired the script in 2012, and plan to start production in June.
Pine and Foster would portray brothers — one an ex-con and the other a divorced father of two kids — who face the foreclosure of their family’s West Texas farm and team for a skillful bank-robbing spree. Bridges would portray one of the lawmen determined to take them down.
Bridges was most recently seen in “The Seventh Son.” Pine starred in “Into the Woods” and is set for “Star Trek 3.” Foster’s in post-production on “Warcraft” and “Lance Armstrong.”
