Owners of Google’s Nexus 7 tablet will have to wait until the middle of November in order to receive an update to the latest version of Android, version 4.2 Jelly Bean. Google first promised the update for the 29th of October, but Asus tells CNet that they are still waiting on Google to deliver the code for the update. Version 4.2 will make its official debut next week with the release of the Nexus 4 from LG and the Samsung manufactured Nexus 10 tablet.
Version 4.2 retains the name Jelly Bean, as it is largely an incremental update. It brings a few new features, including a 3D panorama mode called Photo Sphere, user accounts for tablets, and a Swype-style keyboard.
