Jennifer Garner is in talks to star opposite Kevin Costner in Ivan Reitman’s upcoming Draft Day, Variety reports. She would play Costner’s character’s secretary.
The Paramount Pictures football comedy arrives from Rajiv Joseph and Scott Rothman and centers around the NFL’s draft and sees the general manager of the Cleveland Browns going to any length to secure his top pick.
Garner recently starred in Butter and The Odd Life of Timothy Green. She can soon be seen in Jean Marc Vallee’s The Dallas Buyers Club.
Reitman, who will also produce through The Montecito Picture Company, last directed 2011’s No Strings Attached, also for Paramount.
