Jeremy Renner could be in line to play one of the lead characters in the upcoming Spawn film at Blumhouse.
That Hashtag Show, who first broke the news of Jamie Foxx’s casting as the titular soldier of hell from the comics, indicates that the Avengers actor is apparently up for the role of Detective Twitch Williams.
Twitch teams up with the supernatural antihero to track down his daughter’s killer in the film.
Spawn creator and the film’s director Todd MacFarlane has indicated in recent years this take on Spawn will use the titular character sparingly with Twitch to essentially serve as the lead.
