“Saturday Night Live” has set a dream team for its Dec. 21 broadcast, as “SNL” alum Jimmy Fallon returns to host for the second time since exiting the show in 2004, with musical guest Justin Timberlake.
Paul Rudd is also scheduled to host the Peacock’s venerable latenight comedy show on Dec. 7, before the premiere of “Anchorman 2.” One Direction will serve as musical guest. On Dec. 14, John Goodman will notch his 13th time hosting “SNL.” Kings of Leon will perform.
Both Fallon and Timberlake have won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for their work hosting “SNL.”
