Once framed to replace Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men”, John Stamos is about to star on another TV series. Sony Pictures TV brings back “Dead Lawyers” to life after the legal drama was put on shelves eight years ago.
Deadline said Stamos is attached to star on the project which was originally developed for Syfy. Sean Patrick Flannery was the star in the pilot that never went on air and Paris Barclay was the director. This time, “Justified” writer Graham Yost is set to take it over as co-writer and executive producer.
Sony TV’s version is described as follow, “A hotshot defense attorney is run over by a bus and finds himself in his own version of hell: a law firm on earth composed of other dead lawyers, all trying to right miscarriages of justice in order to redeem themselves.”
