To celebrate the Packers trip to the Superbowl, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is planning a Packers Blitz including special sections, columns, merchandising, and special offers.

- Nine daily free-standing color sections in the Journal Sentinel starting Sunday, January 30, and running through Monday, February 7.
- A daily column with observations from Dallas penned by Packers linebacker Clay Matthews begins Tuesday, February 1.
- Daily guest columns written by expatriate Packer Fans including Anthony Shadid, a UW-Madison graduate and former staffer of the Daily Cardinal student newspaper there who is now a Beirut-based foreign correspondent for The New York Times, and Jeff Cesario, a standup comedian originally from Kenosha. He is a veteran of the “Tonight” show, “Late Night With David Letterman,” the “Late, Late Show,” four of his own specials, and most recently Comedy Central. He stars in “The Dick Rossi Show” on funnyordie.com and has won two Emmys for his work on HBO’S “Dennis Miller Live.”
- Added online coverage including photo galleries, videos, updates in the Packers Blog, statistics and more. Coverage also will be available on Journal Sentinel’s Packer Insider app available on the iPhone.
- Journal Sentinel staff including eight reporters, four photographers and an editor will provide news, insider commentary and analysis with daily reporting from Dallas covering the Super Bowl and related events leading up to the game.
