Klipsch has just introduced a special version of its X10i earbuds with the Signature Audio Edition Lou Reed X10i. As the name indicates, the company teamed up with key Velvet Underground founder Lou Reed. The singer and songwriter is a self-confessed fan of Klipsch products and puts his signature of each set of these.
Other than the color and signature, however, there are no technical differences between these and the run-of-the-mill set. This means they get the same three-button inline remote control and microphone. The tech specs include a 110dB at 1mW sensitivity, 50Ohm nominal impedance, and a bass-friendly 5Hz to 19kHz frequency response. They ship with a carrying pouch, airline adapter and five sets of eargels for a better fit.
The signature edition headphones ship in December and will be priced at $400, a $50 premium over the regular versions.
