As teased this summer by star Mindy Kaling, The Mindy Project‘s leading lady will (temporarily) find herself in the body of a white man later this season — and according to Entertainment Weekly, She A Man Now casting has gone to Veronica Mars alum Ryan Hansen.
“We’re pitching an episode called ‘If I Was Born a White Man,’” Kaling revealed to reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in August.
Per the new report, Dr. Lahiri gets into an argument with someone at work, then goes to bed wishing she was a white man. When she opens her eyes the next morning? Voila! She’s suddenly a blonde-haired, blue-eyed doc named Michael Lancaster.
New episodes of The Mindy Project arrive Tuesdays on Hulu.
