Actor Clayne Crawford has been fired from FOX’s Lethal Weapon TV series with Warner Bros. Television working overtime to find an actor to replace him.
Crawford, who had the co-lead role of Martin Riggs, has come under fire for his bad behavior on the set. The actor recently apologized for two incidents for which he was reprimanded during the sophomore season, but it apparently wasn’t good enough and so he’s out.
Multiple actors have reportedly been offered the role for a potential third season and already passed on it. The decision will have to be made soon with FOX’s upfront presentation scheduled for Monday.
If they can’t recast by June 30th, when options on the cast expire, then the series will likely be cancelled. The show has been a solid hit for FOX since its 2016 debut.
