Bryan Singer has brought back Lucas Till For “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” in which the actor will reprise his Alex Summers/Havoc character from 2011′s “X-Men: First Class.”
Singer revealed the casting Monday on Twitter with a photo of Till from the set, clad in military fatigues. He also included a John F. Kennedy quote — “Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind.” Till starred in 2011′s “X-Men: First Class.” He recently wrapped for indie thriller “The Curse of Downers Grove” and on David Hayter’s werewolf thriller “Wolves” and will be seen next in espionage thriller “Paranoia” alongside Liam Hemsworth.
Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman are also reprising their roles from “X-Men: First Class.”
“Days of Future Past” is based on the 1981 story in the Marvel comic “Uncanny X-Men” and will include characters from the 1960s first class as well as future versions of the original characters. Fox will release the movie on May 23, 2014.
