Seth MacFarlane, the Ted writer/director/star whose success began with FOX’s Family Guy has, according to The Hollywood Reporter, made plans to develop a new, live-action comedy for the network.
MacFarlane will be joined by Ted co-writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild writing and executive producing the show, which is said to follow a pair of 30-something friends whose respective fathers wind up living with them.
Ted, which grossed close to $400 million at the box office this past summer, has a sequel in the early planning stages at Universal Pictures according to recent reports.
