Jessica Jones faced her share of troubles in her first season, but she better rest up because now she’s got another one on the horizon! That’s right, “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” will return to Netflix for a second hard-hitting series, as announced by NETFLIX’s Chief Content Officer, Ted Sarandos, today at a Television Critics Association event.
The critically-acclaimed first season of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” earned star Krysten Ritter a Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Drama Series. The series followed the equally-acclaimed debut of “Marvel’s Daredevil,” the first original series in Marvel’s overall deal with Netflix.
“Marvel is thrilled to be working with NETFLIX for a second season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” said Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb. “The positive response to Jessica’s story from fans all over the world has been overwhelming and we look forward to diving even deeper into these characters and this world.”
You can watch the first season of “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” streaming now only on Netflix.
Looks like I will have more things to add to my Netflix queue … thanks for the reminder!
