Many readers may have noticed that the official Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS website hasn’t been updated with new pictures or information for the past few days. This might some as a surprise to some readers as, until recently, the site had updated regularly every weekday.
What people who only follow the Super Smash Bros website might not know though is that every image posted there is also posted on Miiverse as well, by Masahiro Sakurai himself. On Miiverse each image comes with a message commenting on the picture. This week Sakurai helpfully decided to let us know:
The pic of the day that runs Monday through Friday will be on break starting Dec. 27. I’ll be back on Jan. 6, so I hope everyone has a happy new year!!
So we’ll all have to wait until next year to get any new Super Smash Bros. information. Everyone needs a break now and then, so it’s good to hear Sakurai is taking some time off for the New Year.
