Development studio Danger Close and publisher Electronic Arts are providing more footage of the upcoming video game Medal of Honor Warfighter (due Oct. 23 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) — and the first chance to get into the Battlefield 4 beta trial.
With commentary from Kristoffer “Hoffe” Bergqvist, the multiplayer creative director, the video shows off the game’s multiplayer mode and support actions, classes, the new Fire Team buddy system.
Keep track of your buddy, which can choose his or her own Special Forces branch from a dozen or so options, with a ghost-like visual cue. Should they be shot down, the responsible party is highlighted and you can avenge your buddy’s takedown. “The kill of the attacker will automatically respawn your buddy on your six, getting you back into the action faster than ever before,” Bergqvist says.
