Microsoft has listed the first six stores it will launch in 2013. All based in the United States, the new store locations form part of the software company’s plan to open 75 new Microsoft Stores in the next three years, and adds upon the existing 40 stores across the country.
The new stores will be located in San Antonio, Texas; Miami, Florida; Beachwood, Ohio; San Francisco, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; and St Louis, Missouri, according to the Microsoft Store list noticed by GeekWire. San Antonio, San Francisco, Beechwood, and St Louis already play host to holiday pop-up stores, with the new additions in some cases replacing them.
In recent months, Microsoft has established permanent branches of its stores in Canada and Puerto Rico, and is said to be expanding to the UK and Europe in the future.
