The new update for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition in now available to players. Update 7 offers many of the features of Minecraft PC’s update 1.0.1, but will lack “The End,” which is set to come in Update 8.
Update 7 will add the following to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition:
- Animal breeding
- Potion brewing
- Experience points
- Enchantment table
- Mushroom Biome
- Nether Fortress
- New tutorial world
- Villagers
- Mooshrooms
- Blaze
- Snow Golems
- Magma cubes
- Baby animals
Prior to the release of Update 7 has been revealed, developer 4J Studios noted some additional details on Twitter, including that 30 experience points will be required to level up (as opposed to the PC version’s 50) and that experience will be earned through “mining, smelting and breeding.”
The developer added that Ender Pearls will teleport and can be thrown in creative mode, and that Spawn Eggs, Iron Golems, ocelots and jungles will be in a later update.
