Battery-boosting case manufacturer Mophie has used Mobile World Congress to debut its new iPhone 5 case, Mophie Juice Pack Air. The new iPhone 5 case takes the same concept of previous incarnations, but this time it is designed to house the extra size of the iPhone 5, along with a number of slight adjustments.
The new Juice Pack Air provides 1700mAh of extra battery capacity, an improvement over the version for the iPhone 4 and 4S which could hold 1500mAh. Weighing in at 2.68 ounces, it is claimed to be lighter and thinner than earlier versions, and Mophie has taken the time to add integrated pass-through buttons to the design, as well as a proprietary mute switch.
Charged by microUSB, the Mophie Juice Pack Air is on sale in the US for $100
