Twitter has released two new versions of TweetDeck, its more powerful Twitter client software. The title is now available in native Mac and Windows editions.
Previously the software was dependent on Adobe AIR, which runs apps based on common web frameworks. For the native apps Macs must be running OS X 10.6 or later, while Windows PCs require only Windows XP.
TweetDeck’s main feature is the presence of columns, which allow people to view multiple feeds at once. The app also enables things like filtering, scheduled tweets, and posting to Twitter and Facebook simultaneously.
