NBC continues to do well with their Monday night programming block. According to preliminary national estimates from Nielsen, “The Voice” (4.5 rating/12 share in adults 18-49, 14.3 million viewers overall) was just about in line with last week as the popular blind-auditions round continues to crush the competition. It was followed by the third week of “The Blacklist” (3.2/9 in 18-49, 11.3 million viewers overall), which was down a bit from last week but continues to perform very well.
Last week, “The Blacklist” became the first show on any broadcast network to add 5 million viewers from live plus same-day to live plus-7, according to Nielsen.
CBS ran fourth among the Big Four in 18-49 even though “How I Met Your Mother” remains a strong performer (2.9/9 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall), placing second in the demo to “The Voice” while winning or tying for the lead in its half-hour in both adults 18-34 and men 18-34.
