Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger) is in talks to play a role in Summit Entertainment’s RED 2, reports Variety.
He would be joining Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Byung-Hun Lee and Karl Urban in the Dean Parisot-directed sequel, scheduled to hit theaters on August 2, 2013.
The trade says: “In this installment, Willis and company are searching for a weapon of mass destruction but must first break out the man who created the weapon from an insane asylum.”
RED writers Jon and Erich Hoeber penned the script, and Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce.
