There are almost 90 titles, (89 actually) will expire on Jan. 1, 2014 on Netflix, which means you’ll no longer be able to stream them instantly. And that means that you’ll have 89 less reasons to ignore regular pants and other human beings on Friday nights.
We looked through the entire list (which you can view here) and picked a few that we’ll miss having:
- Braveheart: Mel Gibson’s big speech and a bunch of hairy highlanders doing the original “flash” mob are just a couple highlights from this one.
- Titanic: He’s the King of the World! She doesn’t like him enough to insist he scramble up on her floating door. This one still holds up, and can make us cry after all these years.
- Roman Holiday: After Titanic makes you cry, stream this one to get your smileies back. Debonair Gregory Peck and the always delightful AUdrey Hepburn cruise Rome on a Vespa…what more could anyone want.
- Top Gun: Get your testosterone back with the flyboys of Top Gun. Planes, more planes and lots of Tom Cruise morphing into a genuine man of action. Also the bonus of Meg Ryan yelling something about sex!
