In a move that will come as no great surprise to anyone who has ever wielded a nuchuk, Nintendo has announced a couple of more additions to the cast of Super Smash Bros. Princess Zelda is a bit like getting socks for Christmas: predictable.
Offering more of a spectral variety is the Rainbow Road of Mario Kart fame, presented as a stage on the game’s Miiverse page. “It can’t be explained in one picture,” teased series director Masahiro Sakurai, “But it’s going to be a cruise-type stage.”
As for when to expect the Nintendo stuffed fighter to hit the 3DS and Wii U, that remains under wraps beyond a 2014 release window.
