A new behind-the-scenes photo from the set of Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables has been released through the film’s official Twitter feed and it shows off London’s Old Naval College doubling for Paris in 1832.
Starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Aaron Tveit and Samantha Barks; Les Miserables is based on the hit Broadway musical by Claude-Michel Schönberg that opened in 1985, in turn based on Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel. Set against the backdrop of the 19th Century French rebellion, the musical has been adapted for the screen by William Nicholson.
Les Miserables is scheduled to hit theaters on December 15, 2012.
