Bandai Namco has released a new English story trailer for Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, highlighting the game’s battle system and online multiplayer mode. It also drops hints about the mysterious NPC, Premiere, alongside revealing two new characters, Philia and Strea. In a press release, the publisher offered the following synopsis:
In SWORD ART ONLINE –Hollow Realization– players take the role of Kirito, the legendary player who helped defeat the death game SWORD ART ONLINE, as he and his friends are drawn into a new VRMMO called Sword Art: Origin. Players will enter an open world called Ainground and start their adventure as they assemble a party of characters to command and collaborate with, engaging in combat that takes cues from popular Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games.
The online multiplayer mode in SWORD ART ONLINE –Hollow Realization– gives fans the ability to customize their avatars and create a team with up to three other human players and four AI controlled characters for a large eight player party to fight through Ainground and survive the “Sword Art: Origin” world.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is headed to the West this fall for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
