Shonda Rhimes’ upcoming drama “The Catch” is being handled — or rather, recast. Damon Dayoub, who was set to play the male lead, opposite Mireille Enos, is being recast, Variety has reported. Bethany Joy Lenz is also being recast in “The Catch.”
The “One Tree Hill” alum announced the news Monday night via WhoSay, posting, “Looks like they need a different type for Zoe, so I’ll be replaced, but please still watch! It really is such a good show and I’m so proud of my friends’ work!”
“The Catch” is just one of many shows recasting, before their series premieres for the 2015-16 season. “Quantico,” another ABC drama, is recasting the role of FBI Special Agent Liam O’Connor, originally set to be played by Dougray Scott.
