Sega has confirmed the second 3D Classics compendium for the 3DS, and the big news is that the seminal arcade racer Power Drift has made the cut. The pack follows the previous retail release which pulled together all of the 3D Classics titles released up to that point. This second selection boasts Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Galaxy Force II, Thunder Blade and Fantasy Zone II Double.
However, as a bonus Japanese players will also get Power Drift, Puyo Puyo Tsu, the original Master System version of Fantasy Zone II and the Sega Mark III title Maze Walker.
The first retail selection never saw release outside of Japan, so it’s unlikely that we’ll see this collection in the west. That leaves Power Drift in a kind of limbo – there’s a good chance that Sega will release it as a seperate eShop download over here, but that hasn’t been confirmed as yet.
