Nintendo of America chief Reggie Fils-Aime during his GDC keynote today said the 3DS would get Netflix support with its own special features. The gaming handheld will stream video and will get new support for 3D movies that haven’t been available to anyone before. Wii owners will get extra integration by push an in-progress video either to the 3DS or vice versa.
The service will start out by offering 3D movie trailers to get users started but will eventually include full movies and other content.
Netflix will reach the 3DS as a channel sometime in the summer.
