Wii U football fans must suffer a drought this year. EA Sports has confirmed iit has no plans to launch Madden NFL 25 on Wii U in 2013.
“We will not be releasing a Wii U version of Madden NFL in 2013. However, we have a strong partnership with Nintendo and will continue to evaluate opportunities for delivering additional Madden NFL products for Nintendo fans in the future,” an EA Sports release noted.
Madden NFL 25 boasts a new combo system for the running game and tweaks to the Infinity Engine introduced in last year’s Madden NFL 13. Hall of Famer Barry Sanders was recently chosen by fans to grace the cover of Madden NFL 25, beating out Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
