Nokia has made an update available to its City Lens augmented reality application for both its Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.5 devices. The changelog for both apps is the same, and adds a new “sightline” feature that lets users view only what’s in their direct line of site.
Nokia Lens also now lets users see place details without leaving the camera view, and also lets users freeze the image/view on the screen so the phone can be moved and shared without losing their place. Last, the new version of Nokia Lens lets users pin their favorite searches to the home screen.
Nokia Lens is a free download to Nokia’s Lumia smartphones.
