The Office‘s Jenna Fischer is getting back in business with NBC, snagging a recurring role on The Mysteries of Laura,
According to Deadline, which first broke the news, Fischer will play Jennifer Lambert, an attorney, single mother and love interest for Laura’s ex, Jake (Josh Lucas).
Fischer will next be seen in NBC’s comedic limited-series You, Me And The Apocalypse, which bows Thursday, Jan. 28.
Mysteries of Laura resumes its second season on Wednesday at 8/7c. Fischer’s first episode will air later this winter.
