Origin PC has announced new notebooks that offer both Haswell processors and Kepler graphics, following on from the EON15-S and EON17-S. The customizeable EON13-S offers a 13.3-inch 1029×1080 IPS display, a 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT765M GPU, and a choice of quad-core Intel Core i7 processors running at 2.4GHz, 2.7GHz, 2.8GHz or 3.0GHz for the Extreme Core i7 version.
Said to be an upgradeable notebook, it can contain up to three storage drives with dual mSATA Raid support. RAM options range from 4GB DDR3 to 16GB 1600MHz, drive choices are made up of 320GB to 1GB of mechanical and 120GB to 960GB SSD, and there are various choices available for networking, audio, external optical drives, and the operating system. Outside, it also has three USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, Ethernet, HDMI-out, backlit keyboard, webcam, and a fingerprint reader.
The EON13-S starts from $1,474, and is supplied with a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor running at 2.4GHz, 4GB of RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, a 320GB SATA hard disk, and integrated sound. Origin PC states it will also include a Corsair M95 mouse, Corsair MM200 mouse pad, and free overclocking for orders before August 5th.
