Origin PC’s all-in-one (AIO) gaming PC, the Omni, we first saw at CES this year has started shipping worldwide. The 34-inch AIO is equipped with Intel Broadwell-E processor, up to the Core i7-6950X, and the recently released Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, or GTX 1070 GPU.
When announced back at CES 2016, Origin PC Omni was configurable with up to a Core i7-5960X and a GeForce GTX Titan X. Now that the next generation CPU and GPU series, from Intel and Nvidia respectively, are out, it was just a matter of time that the new AIO gaming machine was updated with the premium hardware – the Broadwell-E CPUs and the GTX 10 Series graphics cards.
What’s unique about the Origin PC Omni is that its 3440×1440 display houses all of the components behind it. The display also has room for Origin’s Frostbyte liquid cooling along with virtually any mini-ITX motherboard. The Z170 systems use either an Asus Z170 Pro Gaming or an ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard, whereas the X99 model features an ASRock X99E-ITX/AC, the only mini-ITX motherboard for the platform.
In addition to this, the ultra-wide AIO includes two DIMM slots with support for up to 32GB of DRR4 memory. It also support up to two 2.5-inch staorage drives, as well as a single M.2 SSD though the Origin PC’s configurator offers only up to two drives in total at the moment.
