After a trial run over the summer, “Page Six TV” has been picked up for a national syndicated run to start in the fall of 2017.
“Page Six TV” comes from Endemol Shine North America, the New York Post, and Twentieth Television, the syndicated arm of 20th Century Fox TV, which will handle national distribution and barter sales. The daily series will appear on Fox TV stations in 17 markets, including Los Angeles and New York. The three-week trial run over the summer appeared on a handful of Fox’s O&O stations.
“With the success of ‘Page Six TV’ this past summer, we are looking forward to the launch of the show next fall to continue to deliver an entertaining and insightful look at the latest gossip and headlines to a broader audience,” said Jesse Angelo, CEO and publisher of the New York Post.
The show aims to deliver in-the-know gossip and news from all facets of American culture, from entertainment to media, finance, real estate and politics. “Page Six TV” is hosted by John Fugelsang, with contributing experts like Mario Cantone, Bevy Smith, Variety reporter Elizabeth Wagmeister and New York Post Page Six reporter Carlos Greer. Viewers will also be able to voice their opinions on the topics of the day via social media.
