Through a series of tweets, Pandora has let it be known it may not bring out an app for the Windows Phone 7 platform.
Pandora was listed as a Microsoft Windows Phone 7 launch partner.
That Pandora will never develop the app isn’t certain as the company wouldn’t commit in either direction. “I’m not sure if/when we’ll be available for Win7 phones,” the company said.
While Pandora is on other major phone OSes, the absence of multitasking has been one of the major limitations to Internet radio on WP7, since it won’t work if users switch away.
