Paramount Insurge has picked up the rights to an original spec script titled Family Vacation, Variety reports. It arrives from relative newcomer Eric Reese.
Specific details are few, but Family Vacation is said to be a thriller and, as the title suggests, it centers on some sort of family trip.
Reese is the author of FilmNation’s upcoming dramatic thriller, The Faces. Set to be directed by Paul Solet, that film follows a pair of newlyweds who discover the existence of an elite underworld society which uses terror as a means of entertainment.
