Variety is reporting today that there’s movement on a third “G.I.: Joe” movie that would follow G.I. Joe: Retaliation.
“Retaliation” opened to $132 million, of which $51.7 million came from domestic theaters and $80.3 million from international ones.
The trade adds that “Retaliation” cost less ($130 million) compared to “The Rise of Cobra,” which cost about $175 million.
Worldwide, “Retaliation” could make over $400 million, quite a bit more than “Cobra’s” $303 million.
