In a post to Twitter, Xbox marketing manager, Aaron Greenberg has now teased “exciting news” related to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds as a part of Paris Games Week. Alongside an image of creative director, Brendan Greene and executive producer Chang Han Kim, the tweet teases an upcoming announcement for the days ahead, followed by “대박,” a Korean phrase used to express awe.
Once PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds hits Xbox One, the game will release as a part of Xbox Game Preview – a program that allows developers to release games on the console in an in-progress state. The game will also be launched with enhancements to take advantage of the additional resources of the Xbox One X, with 4K and HDR support as expected features.
