Sony’s annual subscription-based PlayStation Plus service will be extending its existence to the PlayStation Vita, the company announced today during its Gamescom press conference in Cologne. No information was given regarding when the service would make the jump from console to handheld, or what offers will be used to entice new subscribers.
Additionally, it was announced that Plus’ cloud storage limit will be increased from 150 megabytes to 1 gigabyte. The increase will take place sometime before the end of the year.
