Polk Audio has launched a national campaign for its new line of performance-designed UltraFit headphones aimed at users involved in sports or active lifestyles. Featuring contrast-colored tangle free cords, water-resistant materials and athletics-specific design — along with its reputation for high-quality audio — the UltraFit line offers sports headphones that will stand up to the rigors of training and everyday use with a fit that doesn’t slip.
The models range in styles, colors and price points, with in-ear, on-ear and in-ear canal models, all featuring Kevlar-reinforced hinge points and a zippered, vented protective case when not in use. The UltraFit 500 model ($50) is an in-ear headphone with two planar audio cables (14 inch and 41 inch), a Strainguard moisture shield and three pair of StayFit silicone tips for a custom fit. It comes in black/red, black/gold, white/orange and white/gray color combos.
The UltraFit 1000 ($70) is also in-ear with similar features to the 500 and the addition of an in-line three-button remote control and microphone. It’s available in black/red and white/gray color combinations.
The on-ear model is the UltraFit 2000 ($70), which also features a mic and remote along with an airframe design and reflective wraparound headband. It comes with one pair of silicone ear pads, two pair of foam ear pads and a pair of cold-weather shearling ear pads, and is available in black/red and white/orange.
Finally, the UltraFit 3000 in-ear canal headphones ($100) offer ultra-high performance sound, the remote and mic, three pairs of silicon tips, two pairs of 3-flange silicone tips and three pair of memory foam tips. It’s available in black/red, white/gray and white/orange color options.
