Netflix in April put in an renewal order for a second season of the TV series based on Gerard Way’s acclaimed comic The Umbrella Academy.
Today, several social media postings confirmed that production has started on the second season.

The first season saw all five characters jumping through time and now it seems they’ll spend part of the second season witnessing their childhood.
A premiere date has not been disclosed yet.
