A new PlayStation Vita-exclusive title is launching in early 2015, and it looks puzzling. Called Sketchcross, the upcoming game will feature numerous logic puzzles and two different gameplay modes.
The puzzles appear to be similar to Sudoku and crossword puzzles, where players will use number clues to fill in spaces on a grid. By filling in the appropriate squares, explained Spiky Fish Games CEO Kendal Cormany on the official PlayStation Blog, an image will appear of an animal.
Sketchcross will launch with 50 puzzles ranging from simple 5×5 shapes to complex 30×30 animals. The game has been designed to be easily expandable and our plan is to offer additional puzzles after launch.
The upcoming puzzler is also set to feature two different game modes — Normal and Frenzy. The Normal mode features relaxing, brain-stimulating fun, while the Frenzy mode forces players to solve the puzzles in a limited amount of time.
