A PlayStation 4 system software update has been scheduled for deployment “soon,” Sony has announced.
The patch will likely be a minor one, set to improve the stability of certain features across the console. No estimated release date for the patch has been disclosed so far.
Sony’s announcement comes less than a month after update 2.55, which also improved the stability of system software features.
Yukimura, Sony’s last major PS4 update, introduced sweeping changes to the platform, including the long-awaited suspend/resume functionality.
