Qualcomm said it has been working with Google to ensure that its latest mobile chips will function properly with Android P.
The effort falls under the purview of Project Treble, Google’s effort to help device makers update their hardware with new builds of Android on a faster schedule.
Qualcomm says it has been able to optimize its software on the Snapdragon 845, 660, and 630 Mobile Platforms. Phones that rely on those processors will fully support Android P when the platform launches later this year.
