Benchmark NenaMark 2 test results of the upcoming 28nm Snapdragon S4 processors reveal fairly strong performance. The device the chip was on isn’t identified, however, but it is likely a seven-inch tablet as the resolution is typical of such devices, at 1024×600. It ran on the 1.5GHz MSM8960 processor with Adreno 225 graphics and scored 54.90 on the test.
The unit tested ran on Android 4.0.3 and compares to a Galaxy S II smartphone’s score of 46.2. It had a lower resolution of 800×480, however, and the Mali-400 GPU, which is considered by many to be among the most powerful available.
We had a chance to use a coupleĀ S4-powered tablets at CES and we were very impressed with their speed!
