TWC-Dimension has set a release date of August 28, 2015 for its thriller Regression. The film stars Ethan Hawke (The Purge) and is written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar.
Also a composer, Amenábar is best known on the genre scene for the Nicole Kidman-starring The Others.
His latest effort – which is rooted in the supernatural – will find Hawke playing a father who is convicted for sexually abusing his daughter, but has no memory of it. He enlists the help of a psychologist and learns that he may be part of a nation-wide conspiracy.
