The original Resident Evil is being reanimated once again in early 2015. That’s not entirely precise. The original Resident Evil launched in 1996 and was put under the knife and remade in 2002. According to publisher Capcom, this HD remix is the “definitive re-visit of that iconic” remake from 2002.
Available on current and last-gen Xboxes and PlayStation systems, the remake will also be available on PC. Capcom says panicked running from demon dogs and annoying crows (the worst!) will be in 1080p on Xbox One and PS4. Resident Evil will also support 5.1 surround sound, 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, along with classic and modern control schemes.
