Rhapsody today said customers can now share millions of songs from Rhapsody directly to Twitter.
Rhapsody is making use of Twitter’s audio card technology, which lets people listen to full tracks directly in the Twitter app. According to Rhapsody, people will be able to share songs with their Twitter followers from within the Rhapsody application thanks to a new share button.
Users will be able to add comments and hashtags, too. The feature makes it possible for all Twitter users to listen to full songs from Rhapsody’s music library of 34 million songs without leaving Twitter.
Audio cards will provide links back to Rhapsody so listeners can learn more about the song, artist, or Rhapsody’s service. This offer is initially available to users in the U.S.
