Even with currently busy shooting his Alien prequel Prometheus, filmmaker Ridley Scott has apparently been confirmed to produce and direct another project sometime later.
Headline Pictures and Participant Media have teamsed up with Scott on the Cold War drama Reykjavik. Scoot will server as producer and director. Written by Kevin Hood (Becoming Jane) the film focuses on the meeting between US president Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in the mid-1980s which helped bring about the end of the Cold War.
