Kickstarter backers have agreed to Conatus Creative’s demands, leaving the River City Ransom Underground studio a suitcase full of Canadian dollars (as specified) on a bench by the docks. That money, $180,000 CAD (around $174,400 in USD), ensures Conatus will release the game into the custody of Windows PCs.
With around 50 hours to go at the time of writing, thoughts turn now to Conatus’ stretch goals. If $205,000 CAD is raised then the licensed follow-up is also be on the way to Mac and Linux. That looks realistic, while PS4 and Vita ports at $280,000 CAD seem a stretch too far at this late stage.
